RESOLUTION NO. 89-033
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA DECLARING THE RESULTS
OF THE SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD
IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 4, 1989.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Charter of the City of Santa
Ana, a special municipal election was held in the City of Santa
Ana on April 4, 1989 to fill the office of member of the City
Council of said City nominated from Ward 6 of said City; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the results of the said election, including the
whole number of votes cast in the City, the names of the persons
voted for, and the number of votes given in the city to each
person are set forth in that certain document attached hereto as
Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference as though
fully set forth.
2. That, based upon said results, RICHARDS L. NORTON is
declared elected to the office of Member of the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana from Ward 6 for the remainder of the
four-year term which commenced following the 1986 general election.
ADOPTED this 17th day of April , 1989.
