A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAS~A ANA AUTHORIZING ~6E EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF
5/4E PURTJC WORKS AG~I~CY TO APPLY FOR BICI~,~
FACILITIES FJNDS L~qDER $~2qATE BILL 821, AND TO
E~ECUTE AN AGRE~R~T FOR THE USE OF SUCH FUNDS,
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 821 provides that 2 percent of each county's total
Transportatio~ Fund be annually set aside and used to fund the develolanent of
bicycle and pedestrian facilities; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA that the Executive Director of the Public Works Agency of the City
of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to apply, on behalf of the City of Santa
Aha, for all funds available to the City of Santa Aha for bicycle facilities
under Senate Bill 821, and to take all actions and sign all documents pertain-
ing to such application on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, and to execute, on
behalf of the City of Santa Aha, an agreement for the use of such funds as my
be granted to the City of Santa Ana.
