RESOLUTION NO. 89-0~8
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE
GENERAL PLAN TO ESTABLISH NEW BUILDING
INTENSITY STANDARDS FOR THE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 2720 HOTEL TERRACE DRIVE
(GPA 89-5).
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa
Ana, after duly noticed public hearing, approved an amendment
to the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set
forth; and
WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered the
initial study and negative declaration prepared for such general
plan amendment; and
WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hearing,
concurs in the Planning Commission's approval of said General Plan
amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The adoption of said General Plan amendment will not
have a significant effect on the environment and the negative
declaration prepared for said amendment is hereby approved.
2. The Land Use Element of the General Plan of the City of
Santa Ana is hereby amended to establish a floor area ratio of
1.0 as the building intensity maximum for that certain area of
the city located at 2720 Hotel Terrace Drive and more specifically
identified on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein.
3. As used herein "floor area ratio" shall have the same
meaning and be determined in the same manner as set forth in
General Plan Amendment 88-2, approved by this Council by its
Resolution No. 89-18, adopted February 21, 1989.

4. The building intensity standards established by this
resolution supersede any and all previously adopted building
intensity standards in the General Plan with regard to the
subject property.
