A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA SUPPORTING THE
REMOVAL OF THE TEMPORARY BUILDINGS
LOCATED BEHIND THE OLD ORANGE COUNTY
COURTHOUSE.
WHEREAS, the temporary buildings located to the rear
of the old Orange County Courthouse building were intended for
demolition many years ago, but have not yet been removed; and
WHEREAS, the restoration of the old Orange County
Courthouse building has been completed; and
WHEREAS, the removal of the said temporary buildings
would greatly enhance the appearance of the old Orange County
Courthouse building and the neighboring Civic Center area;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Santa Ana supports the removal of the temporary
buildings located behind the old Orange County Courthouse build-
ing.
ADOPTED this 7th day of Auqust , 1989.
