RESOLUTION NO. 89-~1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE
INSTALLATION OF PARKING METERS IN THE
MUNICIPAL PUBLIC PARKING LOT LOCATED
AT 308 NORTH BUSH AND IN A PORTION OF
THE PARKING STRUCTURE LOCATED AT FIFTH
AND MAIN STREETS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Pursuant to section 22519 of the California Vehicle
Code and section 36-431 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, the
City Council hereby declares the necessity for the use of
parking meters on the municipal public parking lots located at
308 North Bush and in a portion of the parking structure located
at Fifth and Main Streets, and authorizes and directs the
Executive Director of the Community Development Agency of the
City of Santa Ana to cause the installation of such parking
meters on said parking lot and parking structure together with
appropriate signs giving notice of metered parking restrictions
applicable to said parking lot and parking structure pursuant
to section 36-432 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code and this
resolution. Only that portion of the said parking structure
that is not controlled by the attendant booth shall be metered.

The fee charged for parking in any metered parking
the abovesaid parking lot and parking structure shall
for each twelve minutes or $0.25 per hour.
3. The parking meter restrictions on the abovesaid parking
lot and parking structure shall be effective only between the
hours of eight o'clock (8:00) a.m. and eight o'clock (8:00) p.m.
on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of

each week, except such parking restrictions shall not be oper-
ative on any legal holiday.
