A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING AMEND-
MENT NO. 1 TO DISTRICT AGREEMENT NO.
12-029 BETWEEN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
ACTING BY AND THROUGH ITS DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION, AND THE CITY OF SANTA ANA.
WHEREAS, the State of California, acting by and through
its Department of Transportation, and the City of Santa Ana have
entered into that certain "District Agreement No. 12-029," pro-
viding for improvements to city streets within the City of Santa
Ana which would be impacted by the State's project to reconstruct
the interchange between the I-5 and SR-55 freeways; and
WHEREAS, the State has now provided the City with a
proposed amendment to the said agreement, which proposed amend-
ment is identified by the State as "Amendment No. 1 to District
Agreement No. 12-029;"
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that "Amendment No. 1 to District Agreement
No. 12-029" is hereby approved and the mayor is authorized to
execute the same on behalf of the City of Santa Ana.
