RESOLUTION NO. 90-002
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE ORANGE COUNTY
TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION TO ALLOCATE ORANGE
COUNTY UNIFIED TRANSPORTATION TRUST FUNDS
(OCUTT) FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CITY ARTERIALS,
AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE
PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION
AND TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE USE OF
SUCH FUNDS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA.
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to improve the
Main Street Bridge at SR 22; and
WHEREAS, the City's Master Plan of Arterial Highways/
Circulation Element is consistent with the County of Orange
Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and
WHEREAS, the Santa Ana/Orange TSIA will provide 50%
in matching funds for the project; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Commission
intends to allocate funds from the Orange County Unified
Transportation Trust Fund for the improvement of streets within
the incorporated cities of the county;
NOWt THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby
requests the Orange County Transportation Commission to allocate
funds in the amounts specified in the City's application to
said Cc~amission from Orange County Unified Transportation Trust
Funds. Said funds shall be matched by funds from said City and
shall be used to aid the City in the improvement of the Main
Street Bridge at SR 22 in Fiscal Year 1990-91.
2. The Executive Director of the Public Works Agency is
hereby authorized to submit an application to and execute an

agreement with the Orange County Transportation Commission for
the use of the abovesaid funds in accordance herewith on behalf
of the City of Santa Ana.
