HomeMy WebLinkAbout90-007259 RESOLUTION NO. 90- 007 REL:mb(33) 1/11/90 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING A REPRESENTATIVE PROJECT AREA COMMITTEE FOR THE BRISTOL CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT. WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 87-75 on September 8, 1987, in which the Council called for the formation of a Project Area Committee for the Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project; and WHEREAS, on October 19, 1987 by Resolution No. 87-78 the City Council approved a representative Project Area Committee (PAC) for the Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project; and WHEREAS, Section 8 of the PAC bylaws stipulates that the membership of the PAC be submitted to the City Council for consideration of the representative character of the PAC at the second City Council meeting following each~cha~g~ in membership; WHEREAS, on January 8, 1990, at 7:30 p.m. in the Carr Intermediate School Auditorium, a duly noticed public meeting was held to conduct elections for PAC membership for those seats whose terms had expired; and WHEREAS, at said January 8, 1990 meeting these seats were filled by certified area residents, property owners, and businesspersons, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana as follows: SECTION 1: The Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project Area C~nmittee (PAC) consisting of residential tenants, residential owner-occupants, businesspersons and representatives of community organizations named on the list of PAC members attached hereto, labeled Exhibit A and by this reference made a part hereof, is hereby approved as a representative Project Area Committee for the Bristol Corridor Redevelopment Project. SECTION 2: The Redevelopment Commission and the Redevelopment staff are directed to consult with and obtain the advice of the Project Area Committee concerning those policy matters which deal with the planning and provision of residential facilities or replacement housing for those who may be displaced by project 260 RESOLUTION NO. 90-007 PAGE TWO activities, and other matters which affect the residents of the Project Area for a period of three years after adoption of the Plan.
