A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE
DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN RECORDS IN THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA that the destruction by the Chief of Police of the
following records is hereby approved, in accordance with Govern-
ment Code Section 34090: all files in the Police Department's
Internal Affairs office which are more than five years old and
which do not pertain to terminations, demotions, or disciplinary
matters involving Personnel Board action.
ADOPTED this 20th day of February , 1990.
