A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR OF THE PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY TO APPLY
FOR BICYCLE PROGRAM FUNDS UNDER PROPOSITION
116, AND TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE USE
OF SUCH FUNDS, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA
WHEREAS, Proposition 116 provides $4 million per year for the
next five years statewide for bicycle programs which improve safety
and convenience for bicycle commuters.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA that the Executive Director of the Public Works Agency
of the City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to apply, on behalf
of the city of Santa Ana, for all funds available to the City of
Santa Aha for bicycle programs under Proposition 116, and to take
all actions and sign all documents pertaining to such application
on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, and to execute, on behalf of
the City of Santa Ana, an agreement for the use of such funds as
may be granted to the City of Santa Ana.
