RESOLUTION NO. 91- 098
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO SUBMIT A
GRANT APPLICATION FOR MEASURE M
SUPER STREET FUNDS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to maintain and
improve the streets and roads within its jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the City support regional coordination of
transportation improvements; and
WHEREAS, the city desires to use Measure M funds for
transportation maintenance and improvement projects; and
'WHEREAS, Harbor Boulevard between Imperial Highway and
the Route 55 Freeway (extended) in Costa Mesa has been designated
as a Super Street; and
WHEREAS, the cities of Anaheim, Costa Mesa, Fountain
Valley, Fullerton, Garden Grove, La Nabra, Santa Ana and the County
of Orange are interested in preparing a cooperative study to
implement the Harbor Boulevard Super Street Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Santa Ana hereby endorses submittal of grant
applications for Measure M Super Street funds to further the
implementation of the Harbor Boulevard Super Street Project.
