RESOLUTION NO. 92-035
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA REVOKING VARIANCE NO.
66-12, WHICH ALLOWED A GASOLINE SERVICE
STATION AT 626 SOUTH NEWHOPE STREET IN
THE R-1 DISTRICT
WHEREAS, this Council held a public hearing on April 20, 1992,
on the revocation of Variance No. 66-12, which allowed a gasoline
service station at 626 South Newhope Street in the R-1 (Single-
family residence) use district;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Based on the evidence submitted at the abovesaid hearing
this Council finds and determines that the said variance has been
used by the persons granted said variance and/or their successors
contrary to the ter~us and conditions of its approval, in that the
subject property has been repeatedly used as a full-service
automobile repair business in violation of the condition of
approval of the variance prohibiting such use.
2. Variance No. 66-12 is hereby revoked.
