SUPPORTING PROPOSITION 152 -
K-12 SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION BOND MEASURE
WHEREAS, an adequate number of well-maintained classrooms is
an important component of a sound educational program; and
WHEREAS, Santa Aha Unified is a rapidly growing school
district with numerous older facilities; and
WHEREAS, the State School Building Program provides Santa Ana
Unified with funds to build new schools and upgrade older schools;
and
WHEREAS, Proposition 152 is such a bond measure on the June,
1992 ballot; and
WHEREAS, Santa Aha Unified expects to gain in excess of $31
million in funding for various construction projects;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the Santa Aha City Council
support the passage of Proposition 152 by the voters of California.
I, DANIEL H. YOUNG, Mayor of the City of Santa Aha, hereby
certify that the above and foregoing resolution was duly adopted by
the said City Council at a regular meeting thereof held on the
18th day of May, 1992, and passed by a vote of 6/0 of said
Board.
