RESOLUTION NO. 92- 102
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING THE NUM-
BER OF MEMBERS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL AND
TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE AT
SEVEN MEMBERS
WHEREAS, this Council, by its Resolution No. 73-149, dated
December 10, 1973, established the Transportation Advisory
Committee; and
WHEREAS, this Council, by its Resolution No. 91-112, dated
December 2, 1991, renamed the Transportation Advisory Committee as
the Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee and
expanded its authority to include environmental issues as well as
transportation issues; and
WHEREAS, this Council now desires to establish the number of
members of the Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee
at seven members;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee
shall be comprised of seven (7) members who shall be qualified
electors of the city. The provisions of sections 901 and 901.1 of
the Charter of the City of Santa Ana shall govern the appointment,
removal, and terms of members of the Environmental and Transporta-
tion Advisory Committee and the existence of vacancies on the
Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee. There is no
other restriction on the composition of the membership of the
Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee.
2. Except as modified by this resolution, the provisions of
Resolutions 73-149 and 91-112 shall continue to apply to the
Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee.
