RESOLUTION NO. 93-011
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SUBMIT-
TAL OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS TO
THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHOR-
ITY FOR FUNDING UNDER THE COMBINED
TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to implement the
transportation improvements listed in Exhibit A, attached hereto
and incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has been declared by the Orange
County Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility require-
ments to receive Measure M "turnback" funds; and
WHEREAS, the Circulation Element of the General Plan of the
City of Santa Ana is consistent with the County of Orange Master
Plan of Arterial Highways; and
WHEREAS, the city of Santa Aha will provide matching funds for
each project as required by the Orange County Combined Transporta-
tion Funding Program Procedures Manual; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends to
allocate funds for transportation improvement projects to the
incorporated cities and the County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA that the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby
requests the Orange County Transportation Authority to allocate
funds in the amounts specified in the City's application to said
Authority from the Combined Transportation Funding Programs. Said
funds shall be matched by funds from the City of Santa Aha as
required and shall be used to aid the City of Santa Ana in the
improvement of the streets set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto
and incorporated herein.
