RESOLUTION NO. 93-030
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
PURSUANT TO STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE SECTION 1701
DECLARING A PORTION OF HARBOR BOULEVARD WITHIN THE CITY
A COUNTY HIGHWAY DURING PERIOD OF CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, that portion of Harbor Boulevard lying within
the city limits of the City of Santa Aha is deemed to be a highway
of Countywide importance; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange proposes to construct a new
bridge over the Santa Ana River and road approaches to the new
structure within said portions of Harbor Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the city of Santa Ana will authorize via
cooperative agreement to declare said portion of Harbor Boulevard
as a County facility for the duration of the construction contract;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA that pursuant to the provisions of Section 1700,
Article 3, Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets and Highways Code,
all of that portion of Harbor Boulevard lying within the City
limits of the City of Santa Ana is hereby declared to be a County
highway commencing upon the award of contract and ending upon the
completion of said construction contract by the County of Orange.
