RESOLUTION NO. 93-039
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 82-110 AND 91-066 TO ADD AND DELETE
CERTAIN CLASS TITLES AND EFFECT OTHER CHANGES TO THE CITY'S
BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN FOR OFFICERS AND
EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA.
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the
City of Santa Ana requires the city Manager to prepare, install and
maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil
service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and
adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the
Basic Classification and Compensation Plan for officers and
employees of the City of Santa Ana; and on July 1, 1991 passed and
adopted Resolution No. 91-066 re-establishing the Compensation Plan
for classes of employment designated as unrepresented Executive and
Middle Ma~agem~t;.and
'~' WHEREAS, wi%h' the adoption of the annual budget for Fiscal
Year 1993-94, the City Council authorized certain organizational
and staffing changes which affect several titles in the City's
Basic Classification and Compensation Plan for classes of
employment contained in Resolution Nos. 82-110 and 91-066; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend said Resolutions to effect
these changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution 82-110, as amended, is hereby
further amended by:
a. Deleting the class titles of Circulation Services
Supervisor and Senior Projects Manager;
b. Adding in proper alphabetical sequence, the following new
classification titles at the monthly salary rate ranges indicated:
