A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO APPROVE RELOCATION PAYMENTS
WHEREAS, the acquisition of property for public use by the
city of Santa Ana frequently obligates the city to make payments to
persons displaced from such property as reimbursement for reloca-
tion expenses in accordance with State or, when applicable, federal
laws and regulations; and
WHEREAS, in order to promote the expeditious clearance of
property acquired by the City for public use, it is necessary that
relocation payments be made promptly;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA that the City Manager is authorized to determine the
appropriate amount of relocation payments due to any person or
entity pursuant to applicable state or federal laws and regulations
because of City acquisition of property for public use and to
approve payment of the same.
