RESOLUTION NO. 93-066
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA CHANGING THE NAME OF THE SANTA
ANA TENNIS CENTER TO THE NEALMACHANDER TENNIS
CENTER.
WHEREAS, Mr. Neal Machander has retired after 39 years with
the Santa Ana Unified School District where he served as Tennis
coach; and
WHEREAS, during his tenure, Mr. Neal Machander has worked with
thousands of youths teaching the art of tennis playing and
providing support, direction and encouragement; and
WHEREAS, the contributions to the well-being of the residents
of this community by Mr. Neal Machander are worthy of recognition.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
does by this resolution hereby change the name of
Tennis Center to the Neal Machander Tennis Center.
