RESOLUTION NO. 93-067
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION
90-107 TO AMEND THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION OF
THE PORTION OF BROOK STREET EAST OF
BRISTOL STREET TO BE VACATED BY THE CITY
WHEREAS, this Council, by its Resolution No. 90-107, adopted
on November 19, 1990, ordered the vacation of a portion of Brook
Street east of Bristol Street and of a certain ally between Brook
Street and Cubbon Street, subject to certain conditions pertaining
to street dedications and improvements; and
WHEREAS, the legal description of the portion of Brook Street
to be vacated, attached as Exhibit A to Resolution No. 90-107,
inadvertently failed to exclude from the vacation that portion of
Brook Street to be included in the ultimate planned right-of-way of
Bristol Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. Resolution No. 90-107 of the city Council of the City of
Santa Ana is hereby amended by substituting Exhibit A, attached
hereto and incorporated herein, for Exhibit A as attached to
Resolution No. 90-107 at the time of its adoption.
2. Prior to recording Resolution No. 90-107 in the official
Records of Orange County, California, the Clerk of the Council
shall substitute Exhibit A in accordance with Section 1 of this
Resolution on the copy of Resolution No. 90-107 which she delivers
to the Orange County Recorder for recordation.

EXHIBIT A
A portion of Brook Street, 60.00 feet wide, adjoining the Northerly
line of Lot 1 of Tract No. 543, in the city of Santa Ana, county of
Orange, state of California, as per map recorded in Book 18, page
16 of Miscellaneous Maps in the office of the County Recorder of
said county and described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 1 of said Tract No. 543,
thence along the Northerly line of said Lot 1, South 89°36'54''
East, 20.00 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing
along the said Northerly line, South 89°36'54'' East, 80.15 feet to
a point in a nontangent curve concave to the East having a radius
of 45.00 feet; thence Northerly along the said curve, 8.04 feet,
through a central angle of 10°14'25'' to a point of compound curve
concave to the Southeast having a radius of 52.00 feet; thence
Northeasterly along the said curve 81.68 feet through a central
angle of 90°00'00'' to a point of cusp on the Northerly line of
Brook Street, 60.00 feet wide; thence along the said Northerly line
of Brook Street, North 89°36'54'' West, 107.25 feet to the beginning
of a tangent curve concave to the Northeast having a radius of
25.00 feet; thence Northerly along the said curve 39.03 feet
through a central angle of 89°26'59'' to a point of cusp on the
Easterly line of Bristol Street, 100.00 feet wide; thence along
last said Easterly line, South 00"09'55" East, 84.76 feet to the
True Point of Beginning;
Excepting from the foregoing: all that portion of Brook Street to
the west of a line parallel to and 60.00 feet east of the
centerline of Bristol Street;
Together with a portion of an alley, 12.50 feet wide, adjoining the
Easterly line of Lots 1 through 5, inclusive, of Tract No. 543, in
the city of Santa Ana, county of Orange, state of California, as
per map recorded in Book 18, page 16 of Miscellaneous Maps in the
office of the County Recorder of said county, and described as
follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 1, Tract No. 543,
thence along the Northerly line of said Lot 1, South 89°36'54''
East, 10.16 feet to a point in a nontangent curve concave to the
East having a radius of 45.00 feet; thence Southerly along the said
curve, 8.87 feet through a central angle of 11°17'29'' to a point on
the Westerly line of Lots 6 and 26 of said Tract No. 543; thence
along the said Westerly line South 00°10'08'' East, 267.33 feet to
the Southwest corner of said Lot 6, Tract No. 543, said Southwest
corner also being on the Northerly line of Cubbon Street, 50.00
feet wide; thence along the said Northerly line, North 89°38'55''
West, 12.50 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 5 of Tract No.
543; thence along the Easterly line of said Lots 1 through 5, Tract
No. 543, North 00"10'09" West, 275.85 feet to the Point of
Beginning.
