RESOLUTION NO. 94-015
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR BICYCLE
AND/OR PEDESTRIAN FUNDS UNDER SB 821
W~EREAS, SB 821 provides that two percent of each
county's total Local Transportation Fund be annually set aside
and used to fund the development of bicycle and pedestrian
facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has planned a bikeway
system in conformance with specifications of Caltrans' Plannin~ and
Design Criteria for Bikeways in California and the Regional
Transportation Plan; and
WHEREAS, the city of

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA as follows:
To apply for all funds available to the City of Santa Ana
allocated for Bikeways and Pedestrian facilities (SB
821) .
To authorize the Executive Director of the Public Works
Agency as the city's authorized signatory and designated
contact person;
ADOPTED this 18th day of April , 1994.
