RESOLUTION NO. 94-019
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING FILING OF GRANT
APPLICATION UNDER THE URBAN PARK AND
RECREATION RECOVERY ACT OF 1978.
WHEREAS, the Urban Park and Recreation Recovery Act of
1978 established a grant program to assist communities in
rehabilitation of park and recreation systems; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has been determined
eligible to apply for said funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA, that the City Manager is authorized and directed
to file a grant application for the "Safe Haven" project in the
amount of $50,000.00, and to provide additional information as may
be required with respect to the City of Santa Ana's participation
in this program.
