RESOLUTION NO. 94- 067
A RESOLUTION OF THw. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION AGREEMENTS
WITH THE STATE OF C~T~FORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF
ALCOHOLIC BEvK~AGE CO~'£KOL
WHEREAS,
the Santa Ana Police Department desires
to participate in an A.B.C. grant to be
funded in part from funds made available
through the Grant Assistance to Local Law
Enforcement Agencies Project administered
by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage
Control.
WHEREAS,
a resolution of the Santa Aha City
Council authorizing execution of
participation agreements by the Chief of
Police is required for the year 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Santa Aha that the Chief of Police
is hereby authorized and directed to execute such
participation agreements, contracts including any
extensions or amendments thereof and any subsequent
contract with the State in relation thereto.

IT IS AGREED that any liability arising out of the performance
of this contract including civil court actions for damages, shall
be the responsibility of the grant recipient and the authorizing
agency. The State of California and ABC disclaim responsibility
for any such liability.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder
shall not be used to supplant expenditures controlled by this body.
IT IS ~T,~O AGREED that this award is not subject to local
hiring freezes.
