RESOLUTION 95-012
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO
AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD THE CLASSIFICATION OF DARE
OFFICER TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION
PLAN.
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the
city of Santa Ana requires the city Manager to prepare, install and
maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil
service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and
adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the
Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and employees of the City
of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, continuing the existing Drug Abuse Resistance and
Education (DARE) Program under the direction of the Santa Ana
Police Department requires the addition of a classification to the
Plan; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend Resolution No. 82-110 in
order to effect this change.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding in proper alphabetical sequence, the new
classification title of DARE officer at Salary Rate Range No. 526,
$2717-$3302 per month.
