RESOLUTION 95-075
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO EFFECT CERTAIN CHANGES TO
THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN.
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana
requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay
plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution
No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and
employees of the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the findings of various classification and compensation studies reveal
the need to effect certain changes to the Plan; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend Resolution No. 82-110 in order to effect
these changes.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby further amended
by adding in proper alphabetical sequence, the new classification titles of Firearms
Examiner at Salary Rate Range No. 572, $3398-$4132 per month, and Park Maintenance
Aide at Salary Rate Range No. 365, $1239-$1506 per month.
2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of Resolution No.
82-110 shall remain in full force and effect.
3. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after December 1, 1995.
