A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF THE RECREATION AND
COMMUNITY SERVICES AGENCY TO EXECUTE ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AN
AGREEMENT WITH THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT
OF FORESTRY AND FIRE PROTECTION
REGARDING THE DISTRIBUTION OF GRANT
FUNDS UNDER THE SMALL BUSINESS
ADMINISTRATION TREE PLANTING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to apply for a grant
from the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection for
its Small Business Administration (SBA) Tree Planting Program; and
WHEREAS, the California Department of Forestry and Fire
Protection has forwarded to the City a proposed contract, numbered
8CA95647 for such purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA that the Executive Director of the Recreation and
Community Services Agency is authorized and directed to execute
contract number 8CA95647 and any subsequent amendments between the
City of Santa Ana and the California Department of Forestry and
Fire Protection.
