A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL
OF PROJECTS TO THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION
AUTHORITY FOR FUNDING UNDER THE COMBINED
TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PROGRAMS
BE 1T RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana:
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha desires to implement the transportation
improvements listed below; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has been declared by the Orange County
Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility requirements to receive Measure M
"turnback" funds; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana's Circulation Element is consistent with the
County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha will provide matching funds for each project as
required by the Orange County Combined Transportation Funding Programs Procedures
Manual; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Authority intends to allocate funds
for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA requests the Orange County Transportation Authority allocate
funds in the amounts specified in the City's application to Santa Aha from the Combined
Transportation Funding Programs for the following projects:

Police Department Mountain Bikes and Bicycle Equipment 45,000
Pilot Telecommuting Program 20,000
Strategic Program for Electric Vehicle Infrastructure 100,000
