A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE CURRENT
ANNUAL BUDGET TO ADD THREE GRANT FUNDED
POSITIONS
WHEREAS, on April 15, 1996, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance
No. NS-2283, which establishes the City's budget, authorizing position
allocations for Fiscal Year 1996-97, and which sets forth the requirement that
alterations in the allocations of authorized positions be reviewed and approved
by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, funds have been received through a Rapid Response Special Projects
grant from the State of California ~mployment Development Department for the
purpose of hiring one Reemployment Coordinator; and
WHEREAS, funds have been received through a Welfare to work pilot project
grant from the State of California ~mployment Development Department for the
purpose of hiring two Employment Services Technicians; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1996-97 Budget in order
to effect these changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA:
1. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1996-97, as amended, be further
amended by allocating one additional Reemployment Coordinator position and two
additional Employment Services Technician positions.
2. That except as a/nended by this Resolution, all other provisions of the
Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1996-97 shall remain in full force and effect.
