A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING FILING OF
A GRANT APPLICATION UNDER THE FIRST
DISTRICT URBAN PARKS PROGRAM FOR
PLAYGROUND AND AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES
ACT IMPROVEMENTS AT LOGAN, FISHER AND ALONA
PARKS AND RESTROOM IMPROVEMENTS AT ALONA PARK
WHEREAS, the County of Orange First District established a
grant program to assist cities to enhance existing recreational
facilities and new facilities in urban park areas; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange First District has identified
these funds to be used for recreational projects in local parks;
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has been determined eligible to
apply for said funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA, 20 Civic Center Plaza, P.O. Box 1988, Santa Ana,
California 92702 that the city Manager and/or the Assistant City
Manager is authorized and directed to file this grant application
for Logan, Fisher and Alona Parks playground/ADA improvements and
restroom improvement at Alona Park, and to provide additional
information as may be required with respect to the City of Santa
Ana's participation in this program.
ADOPTED this 3rd day of September , 1996.
