RESOLUTION NO. 96- 082
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECU-
TIVE DIRECTOR OF THE PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA WITH THE CALIFORNIA
DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR FEDER-
AL-AID FUNDS
WHEREAS, in 1995 the Orange County Transportation Authority
(OCTA) approved projects funded by the Measure M Competitive
Streets and Roads programs, which include the Local Surface
Transportation Program (LSTP) funds; and
WHEREAS, the LSTP fund is a Federal Fund administered by the
California Department of Transportation (CalTrans);
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTAANA that the Executive Director of the Public Works Agency
of the City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to execute an
agreement on behalf of the City of Santa Ana for all funds
available to the City for eligible transportation improvement
projects under the above said program and to take all actions and
sign all documents pertaining to such funds as may be granted to
the city of Santa Ana.
