A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA APPROVING IMPROVEMENTS TO THE
GREENVILLE-BANNING FLOOD CONTROL CHANNEL
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District proposes to construct certain
improvements to the Greenville-Banning Flood Control Channel in the City of Santa Ara; and
WHEREAS, Section 21020.9 of the Public Contracts Code of the State of California requires
that prior to commencement of the work or improvements within a municipality and before any .
contract shall be let therefore, the flood control district must obtain the approval of the plans and
specification for such work by the legislative body of the municipality;
WHEREAS, the Public Works Agency of the City of Santa Ana has reviewed the plans and
specifications prepared for the proposed improvements to the Greenville-Banning Flood Control
Channel and recommends that the City Council approve the same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA that the City Council does hereby approve the plans and specifications for the proposed
improvements to the Greenville~Banning Flood Control Channel, as submitted by the Orange County
Flood Control District and recommended for approval by the Public Works Agency.
