A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE ELEMENT OF THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO REDESIG-
NATE A 65-FOOT STRIP OF LAN~ALONG THE REAR POR-
TION OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED~1935 EAST SEVENTEENTH
STREET FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO GENERAL
BUSINESS DISTRICT (GPA 97-01)
WHEREAS, the Planning Co~nission of the City of santa Ana, after duly
noticed public hearing on April 28, 1997, approved an amendment to the General
Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hearing on May 19, 1997,
concurs in the Planning Commission's approval of said General Plan amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AS FOLLOWS:
1. The "Land Use Plan" of the Land Use Element of the General Plan of the
City of Santa Ana is hereby amended to redesignate that area of the city shown
on Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, from the "Low Density
Residential" (LR-7) category to the "General Business District" (GBD) category.
