RESOLUTION NO. 97-053
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AIWA TO AMEND
THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ADD ONE EXECUTIVE SECRETARY (UC)
POSITION.
WHEREAS, on June 16, 1997 the City Council passed and adopted
ordinance No. NS-2327, which establishes the City's budget,
authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1997-98, and which
sets forth the requirement that alteration of the allocations of
authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, in order to provide sufficient support to Council
members in their efforts to respond to citizen requests, one
additional confidential clerical position is required; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1997-98
budget in order to effect this change.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
1. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1997-98, as
amended, be hereby further amended by allocating one additional
unaffiliated confidential Executive Secretary (UC) position.
2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other
provisions of the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1997-98, as
amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
3. That this Resolution shall be effective immediately upon
its adoption.
