RESOLUTION NO. 98-028
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING GENERAL
PLAN AMENDMENT NO. 98-03 APPROVING THE
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ELEMENT OF THE
GENERAL PLAN (GPA 98-03)
WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 65303 permits the
General Plan to contain other elements or address any other
subjects which relate to the physical development of the City; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Economic Development Element will
replace the Economic Development Element previously adopted in
1982; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha,
after noticed public hearing, recommended that the City Council
approve General Plan Amendment No. 98-03, approving the Economic
Development Element of the General Plan; and
WHEREAS, this Council, on July 6, 1998, held a duly noticed
public hearing on said Economic Development Element of the General
Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Economic Development Element of General Plan
Amendment 98-03 is hereby amended, adopted and approved. Said
General Plan shall be maintained by the Executive Director of the
Planning and Building Agency, or his or her designee.
