RESOLUTION NO. 98- 0 48
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND
THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ADD SIX GRANT FUNDED POSITIONS
WHEREAS, on May 18, 1998 the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No.
NS-2348, which establishes the City's budget authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year
1998-99, and which sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized
positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, funds have been received through a Federal Fiscal Year 1998 Welfare to
Work (WtW) Program Formula Subgrant for the purpose of hiring one Employment Services
Associate, four Employment Services Technicians, and one Senior Office Specialist; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1998-99 budget to effect the
addition of these positions.
1. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1998-99, as amended, be further amended
by allocating one additional Employment Services Associate position, four additional
Employment Services Technician positions, and one additional Senior Office Specialist position.
2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of the Annual
Budget for Fiscal Year 1998-99 shall remain in full force and effect.
3. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after June 30, 1998.
