RESOLUTION NO. 98- 0 6 5
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND
THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ADD FIVE GRANT FUNDED POSITIONS
WHEREAS, on May 18, 19,98 the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No.
NS-2348 which establishes the City s budget authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year
1998-99, and which sets forth the requirement that alterations n the allocation of authorized
positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, funds have been received through a California Office of Traffic Safety
Traffic Offender Program Grant for the purpose of hiring one Senior Office Assistant, one Police
Investigative Specialist, and three Police Officers; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1998-99 budget to effect these
changes.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA:
1. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1998-99, as amended, be further amended
by allocating one additional Senior Office Assistant position, one additional Police Investigative
Specialist position, and three additional Police Officer positions.
2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of the Annual
Budget for Fiscal Year 1998-99 shall remain in full force and effect.
3. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after October 1, 1998.
