RESOLUTION NO. 1999-044
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE
CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ADD TWO GRANT FUNDED POSITIONS
WHEREAS, on July 6, 1999 the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No. NS-2387,
which establishes the City's budget authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1999-2000, and
which sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized positions be reviewed
and approved by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the execution of an agreement and funds have been
received from the Orange County Social Services Agency for the purpose of hiring one Senior Office
Assistant and one Community Center Representative, to administer the "Answers Benefiting Children"
Family Resource Center program; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1999-2000 Budget to effect the
addition of these positions.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA:
1. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1999-2000, as amended, is hereby further
amended by allocating one (1) additional Senior Office Assistant position, and one (1) additional
Commtmity Center Representative position.
2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of the Annual Budget
for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 shall remain in full force and effect.
3. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after August 2, 1999.
