A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO
AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO
ALLOCATE ONE POSITION AND REALLOCATE EIGHT
POSITIONS IN THE PARKS, RECREATION AND
COMMUNITY SERVICES AGENCY
WHEREAS, on June 21, 1999, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance
No. NS-2387, which establishes the City's Annual Budget authorizing position
allocations for Fiscal Year 1999-2000, and which sets forth the requirement that
alterations in the allocation of authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, based on the findings of a recent classification study conducted by
the Personnel Services Department, the Executive Director of Parks, Recreation and
Community Services has determined the need to allocate one position and reallocate
eight positions in the current Annual Budget; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1999-2000 Annual
Budget, in order to effect these changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
1. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1999-2000, as amended, is hereby
further amended by:
a. allocating one additional Recreation Program Coordinator position.
b. reallocating the following positions as shown below:

2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of the
Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 shall remain in full force and effect.
3. That this Resolution, unless otherwise indicated, shall be operative from
and after February 1,2000.
