RESOLUTION NO. 2000-014
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL
BUDGET TO ALLOCATE ONE ADDITIONAL POSITION IN
THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
WHEREAS, on June 21, 1999, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance
No. NS-2387, which establishes the City's Annual Budget, authorizing position
allocations for Fiscal Year 1999-2000, and which sets forth the requirement that
alterations in the allocation of authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, funds have been received through the Empowerment Zone
designation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development authorizing
the hiring of staff to administer the Empowerment Zone programs; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1999-2000 Annual
Budget to effect the addition of one position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1999-2000, as amended, be
further amended by allocating one additional Economic Development Aide
position.
That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of the
Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1999-2000 shall remain in full force and
effect.
3, That this Resolution shall be operative from and after April 1, 2000.
