The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 217 N.
Main Street. Roll call was answered by Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard~ Harry H.
Harvey~ James GiLmore, Henry H. Schlueter~ and Mayor A. Allen Hall. Following
the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, the Invocation was delivered by the
Reverend George J. Busdiecker, St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church.

AMEND. APP. 484 Mayor Hall opened the hearing on
CONKLIN Amendment Application 484 filed by

between Santa Clara and 17th Street. Planning Commission Resolution 5665
recommended approval of ~hibit A.A. 484 A. The Clerk reported that notice
of the hearing was published in The Register on January 9, 1964 and that no
written communications or objections had been received. There being no response
to the Mayor's call for testimony~ the hearing was closed.
On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Councilman Harvey and carried~
Council approved the reclassification and instructed the City Attorney to prepare
an amending ordinance according to Exhibit A.A. 484 A.

Robert Rickles, 611 W. 8th Street, attorney for the appellant, gave consent
to the new hearing requested by Messrs. Jacobs and Craig opponents to the
application, and the motion wes unanimously carried.

is under a purchase option and the persons buying it do not wish to .rake an
exchange.

carried, that the request of Starer Bros. be denied. It was suggested by
Mayor Hall that starer Bros. andl the purchaser of the property meet with City
staff to negotiate a three way transaction.
