HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-096 - South Bristol Street Improvement PlanRESOLUTION NO. 2001-096 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE SOUTH BRISTOL STREET IMPROVEMENT PLAN Kdo-12/10/01 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows: A= In a~cordance with the California Environmental Quality Act, the proposed project is exempt from further review. Categorical Exemption Environmental Review No. 01-105 will be filed for this project. The City Council desires to set guidelines for the South Bristol Street right of way. The City's Planning Commission has, after a full and complete review, recommended that the City Council adopt the South Bristol Street Improvement Plan, by a vote of 7:0 at the November 26, 2001 meeting. The South Bristol Street Improvement Plan provides policies, goals, objectives and improvements to address the current uncoordinated streetscape design, and is designed to compliment the Bristol Street Corridor Specific Plan. E. The Council finds that it is appropriate to adopt such standards. Section 2. The "South Bristol Street Improvement Plan", is on file in the office of the Clerk of the Council, and is hereby approved and adopted as part of the City's design and development standards, and shall be made regularly available by the City's Planning and Building Agency.
