A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
EXECUTE ANNUAL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS
ENTERPRISE (DBE) GOAL UPDATES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby, finds, determines and
declares as follows: '

On February 5, 2001, the City Council adopted Resolution 2001-012,
approving and adopting a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)
Program to be incorporated in projects receiving Federal Highway
Administration Funds (FHWA).
The adOpted DBE Program requires the City to submit an annual DBE
program'update for approval by Caltrans District Local Assistance
Engineer.
The adopted DBE Program designates the Santa Ana City Engineer as
the DBE Liaison Officer.

The Cit~ .Council hereby authorizes the City Engineer to execute all annual
DBE Goal updates required by Title 49 C.F.R., Part 26, for Department of
Transportation Assisted contracts adopted by the State of California
Department of Transportation
The Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting this
resolution.
ADOPTED this 7th day of January, 2002.
