A R~ESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA 'TO'~AMEND~ RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO
CREATE THE PART TIME CLASSIFICATION OF ANIMAL
SHELTER COORDINATOR
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Of THE CITY Of SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council hereby, finds, determines and declares as follows:
Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana
requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position
classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations
and the approval of the City Council.

On August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No.
82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and
Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the City of Santa Aha.
C=
The Police Chief proposes to create one (1) new part time classification
title.
It is now desired to amend Council Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, in
order to effect these changes.
Section 2: That section 3.5.2 Class Titles and WaRe Rates for Lon,q-Term
Represented Cate.qories of Non-Civil Service Part-Time Employment of Resolution No.
82-110, as amended, be further amended by adding the following represented part-time
title, assigned to the five hourly pay steps set forth below:
Basic Houdy Wa.qe Rates Effective 2/19/02:

Animal Services
Coordinator $40.00 $42.05 $44.10 $46.30 $48.60
Section 3: That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of
Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4: That except as stated otherwise above, this Resolution shall be
operative from and after February 19, 2002.
