A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA FROM UNDESIGNATED GENERAL
PLAN LAND USE TO OPEN SPACE (OS) FOR
APPROXIMATELY 125.25 ACRES OF LAND
THROUGHOUT SANTA ANA (GPA 2002-01)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines
and declares as follows:
General Plan Amendment No. 2002-01 has been initiated by the City of
Santa Ana to amend the general plan land use designation from
Undesignated General Plan Land Use to Open Space (OS).
The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana held a duly noticed
public hearing on July 22, 2002 and determined by a vote of 6:0 (Mondo
absent) to recommend that the City Council adopt General Plan Amendment
No. 2002-01.
The Negative Declaration for Environmental Review No. 2002-58 was
approved and adopted with the Ordinance adopting Amendment
Application No. 2002-02 which came before the City Council of the City of
Santa Aha on August 19, 2002.
Section 2. The City Council hereby, approves General Plan Amendment No.
2002-01 to change the land use designation for approximately 125.25 acres of land
previously Undesignated General Plan Land Use to Open Space (OS).
Section3. Should Ordinance No. NS-2510 not become effective, then this
resolution is null and void and shall have no further effect.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect thirty (30) days after its adoption
by the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote
adopting this Resolution.
