The meeting was called to or~er at 2:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, 217 N.
Main Street. Roll call was answered by Councilmen James Gilmore, Walter
Brooks, Wade Herrin, Tc~ Mc~ichael, and M~yor Harry E. Harvey. Councilmen
Davis Burk and J. O~len Markel were absent, but arrived later.

approved the Minutes of the Regular
Meeting of April 5, 1965.
Councilmen Burk and Markel arrived at 2:02 p.m.
BID AWAI~) - Councilman Gilmore asked that he be

receive~ and rec~--~ended that Proctor & Webb be awarded the contract to
operate concessions at Municipal Stadium for five year perio~beg~um~ng July 1,
1965. On motion of Councilman Markel, seconded hy CouncilmanBrooks and
carried, Council ordered filed the report of bids received; approved award
of contract to Proctor & Webb; and rejected all other bids.

PROJECT C-121 table. On motion of Councilman Brooks,
seconded by C~uncilm-~ Herrin and carried,
Council ordered filed report of bids
received for Project 0-121, construction of Alton Street from Main to Halladay;
an~ construction of Halladay from Alton to Iryer Road; approved awar~ of contract
to Boeck Pavt-=_ Ce~pan~ at unit prices bid; and rejected all other bids.
