FIRST AMENDMENT TO
CONSULTANT AGREEMENT
N- 2002 -018
THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT, is entered
into on February _J&*� , 2002, by and between Martha Lomeli, hereinafter "Consultant
and the City of Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of
California, hereinafter "City ".
Recitals:
A. The parties entered into an Agreement dated August 24, 2000, hereinafter referred to
as "said Agreement ", by which Consultant has provided counseling and instructional
services to the inmates housed in the Santa Ana jail.
B. By letter dated May 30, 2001, the parties extended the term of said Agreement to
June 30, 2002.
C. The parties wish to amend said Agreement to provide additional compensation during
the extended term of said Agreement.
Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject
to all the terms and conditions of said Agreement, except those amended in this First
Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows:
1. Section 2. a., shall be amended to increase the compensation $4,000.00. The total
sum to be expended under said Agreement shall not exceed $10,000.00 during the
term of said Agreement.
2. Except as hereinabove amended, all terms and conditions of said Agreement remain
unchanged.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this First Amendment to
Consultant Agreement on the date and year first written above.

after the event holder ceases to be a lemon in drat premises.
