OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA
January 25, 1966
The City Council held an adjourned regular meeting in the Spurgeon Room
of the Santa Ann Library 502 West Eighth Street, at 7:30 p.m. Members
of the City Council present were: James Gilmore, Walter Brooks, Davis
Burk, Wade Herrin, J. Ogden Markel, Tom McMichael, and ~ayor Harry H.
Narvey. Also present were the City Manager, members of the Planning
Staff, and department heads. Apprc~mately fifty persons were in the
audience.
G~AL PLAN
Mayor Harvey opened the meeting,
explaining that its only purpose
~as a study session on the
proposed General Plan prior to
public hearings. Mr. Ted Jessee, Chairman of the Planning Cc~mission
briefly reviewed for the Council the development of the General Plan
and its adoption by the Planning Commission.
The Council then heard co~m~ents from Mr. Platt, Dr. Dykeman, and Dr.
Faustman, Consultants in the development of the Plan.
ADJOURNMENT
Following a question and answer
period, the meeting was adjourned
at 9:35 p.m.
