Main Street. Roll call was answered by Councilmen James Gil- more, Walter Brooks, Davis B~rk, Wade Herrin, J. Ogden Markel, Tom McMichael a~d Mayor Harry H. Harvey. Also present were City Mmnager Carl J. Thornton, City Attorney William L. Mock, Director of Public Works Ronald .WoLford, Associate Planner Harry A. Trax, amd Clerk of the Council Doris M. Brown. APPROVAL OF ~ The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of August 1, 1966 were approved on motion of Councilm~ Herrin, seconded by Counc~lm-~ Burk, smd carried. ADJOURNS,. TO M~YOR'S OFFICE Because of a lack of air condition- ing, the meeting was adJour~ed to the Mayor's office, Roc~ 303, on mo- tion of Co~uc~l-~- Bark, seconded ~y Councilman Herrin --& carried. A notice was posted on the Council Chamber door. The meetiug was recon- vened ~w~ediately in the Mayor's office with the same Co~ucilmen present.
