THIRD AMENDMENT TO
CONSULTANT AGREEMENT
THIS THIRD AMENDMENT TO CONSULTANT AGREEMENT, is entered
into on July 1, 2003, by and between Santa Ana College ("Consultant") and the City of
Santa Ana, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City").
Recitals:
A. The parties entered into Agreement #N-2000-203, dated December 29, 2000,
(hereinafter "said Agreement") by which Consultant has provided educational
services to inmates housed in the Santa Ana Jail.
B. In accordance with the terms and conditions of said Agreement, the parties wish to
renew said Agreement for an additional one year period and to increase the
compensation to pay for services during the extended term.
Wherefore, in consideration of the covenants contained in said Agreement, and subject
to all the terms and conditions of the Agreement, except those amended in this Third
Amendment to Consultant Agreement, the parties agree as follows:
1. Section 2. a., COMPENSATION, shall be amended to increase compensation
available pursuant to said Agreement by $3000.00. Said increase shall provide for
services performed during the 2003-04 fiscal year.
2. Section 3, TERM, shall be amended to extend the term of said Agreement to June 30,
2004.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Third Amendment to
Consultant Agreement on the date and year first written above.
