A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO
AMEND THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND
COMPENSATION PLAN TO ADD ONE NEW PART TIME
CLASSIFICATION TITLE IN THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows:
Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana
requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position
classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations
and the approval of the City Council.
On August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No.
82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and
Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the City of Santa Ana.
In order to continue to provide efficient and effective redevelopment
services with diminished resources, the Executive Director of the
Community Development Agency proposes to create one (1) new part
time classification title.
Section 2: That Section 3.5.1 of Class Titles and Waqe Rates for Unaffiliated
Cateqories of Non-Civil-Service Part-Time Employment of Resolution No. 82-110, as
amended, be further amended by adding the following unrepresented part-time title,
assigned to the five hourly pay steps set forth below:

Section 3: That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of
Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 4: That except as stated otherwise above, this Resolution shall be
operative from and after September 15, 2003.
